Q.
Where is the Rupture Disk made?
A.
All of these products are manufactured at our own plant in Japan (Hitachinaka City, Ibaraki Prefecture).
Q.
What is the warranty period?
A.
The warranty period is 12 months after our factory shipment.
Q.
I'd like to buy a spare disk. What should I contact you?
A.
Please inform us of any of our drawing number, the MAKER JOB No or MANAGEMENT No shown in the packaging box, or the control number stamped on the holder.
Q.
Where is VTEX's Rupture Disk superior to other manufacturers?
A.
Performance and quality. Its actual capacity has been proven through formal adoption at nuclear power plants. We also believe that the ability to respond flexibly to special specifications, delivery dates, prices, etc. is an advantage not found in other companies by consistently implementing orders, design, and manufacturing in Japan.
Q.
Can I dispatch designers at meetings, etc.?
A.
Of course, it is possible.I would like to ask a designer who is dedicated to Rupture Disk.
Q.
How long is the standard delivery time?
A.
Usually, the spare disc is used for 30 days, and the holder and disc set are used for 45 days.In case of emergency, please consult us for an emergency response.
Q.
Is there any reference material (inventory)?
A.
I am sorry, however, that there is no reference material (inventory) for the purpose of proposing products that are optimized according to the specifications of the customer.
Q.
Can I buy one spare disk?
A.
Of course, it can be sold from a single sheet. Please contact the person in charge of the quotation or use the "Inquiry Form."
Q.
Is it possible to order only parts?
A.
We accept orders for parts only.
Q.
What is the difference between the Rupture Disk and the safety valve?
A.
Unlike a safety valve with a possibility of failure, the Rupture Disk does not malfunction and reliably releases the pressure at the set pressure. Therefore, there is no pre-leakage.However, the Rupture Disk is fully opened once it ruptures at the set pressure and remains open until the fluid is exhausted (no blow stop). After the safety valve opens at the set pressure, the valve closes and fluid discharge stops (blow stop) when the pressure falls below the set pressure.
Q.
What is the largest size that can be made?
A.
Depending on the model, this product has a production record of up to 1,000A.For details, the person in charge or "Inquiry Form" Please contact us.
Q.
How long is the Rupture Disk replacement cycle or life span?
(Several years have elapsed without rupture, but do you need replacement?)
A.
For your safety, we recommend replacing discs every year even though the discs are not ruptured.
Q.
What happens if the recommended replacement period is exceeded?
A.
Since the disc portion deteriorates over time, it may rupture at a lower pressure (lower pressure) than the set pressure (which does not satisfy the performance at the time of manufacture).
Q.
Could you make it cheaper if the numbers are combined?
A.
The higher the number, the lower the unit price.Separate Personnel or "Inquiry Form" Please contact us.
Q.
Can I place orders from abroad?
A.
There is an overseas sales department, so you can order. Our overseas bases (the United States, Shanghai, and South Korea) are also responding.
Q.
Can you cope with documents in foreign languages (specifications, etc.)?
A.
You can respond. For languages other than English, Korean, and Chinese, the person in charge or "Inquiry Form" Please contact us.
Q.Can you receive special specifications?
A.
We will submit the most appropriate proposal based on the customer's request, and we will submit the proposal separately to the person in charge or to the person in charge. "Inquiry Form" Please contact us.
Q.
What are the laws and regulations on Rupture Disk?
A.
These include the High Pressure Gas Safety Law and the structural standards for pressure vessels.
Q.
What happens if fluid contacts the reversing disc?
A.
Liquid contact may affect the burst pressure. However, this is not the case when the fluid is mist-like.
Q.
Is it possible to manufacture even when the connection is special?
A.
You can.Separate Personnel or "Inquiry Form" Please contact us.
Q.Is there any record of delivery using special materials?
A.
Disks made of tantalum, Inconel, etc. for highly corrosive fluids have been manufactured.
Q.
What should you do if you change the operating specifications during use?
A.
The disc may need to be manufactured again according to the specifications after the change,
Separate Personnel or "Inquiry Form" Please contact us.
Q.
Can you manufacture discs that meet the needs of other companies' holders?
A.
You may be able to respond to this, so you or someone else. "Inquiry Form" Please contact us.
Q.
The weight of the holder is heavy, but can you change or lighten the material? Do you have any plans to improve it?
A.
The weight of the holder can be reduced, but there is also a holder-less type in which the disc is sandwiched directly between the flanges.
Separate Personnel or "Inquiry Form" Please contact us.
