Frequently Asked Questions about Vacuum Valves
-
Q.
Do you support custom specifications?
-
A.
We have supported custom specifications for our customers. Please share the details of your requirements and we will assess feasibility.
-
Q.
Do you have standard products in stock?
-
A.
Most of our products are customer-specifc designs. We generally do not keep standard products in stock for cross-use.
-
Q.
What information is required when ordering a new valve?
-
A.
Please provide the port size, operating pressure, gas type, and operating temperature. Please also refer to the Specifications List page.
-
Q.
What is the warranty period?
-
A.
The standard warranty period is 12 months after delivery.
-
Q.
Are there any specifications for chamber connections?
-
A.
We can adapt to your connection specifications; however, we may propose alternative designs based on engineering considerations.
-
Q.
What do positive pressure, reverse pressure, and equal pressure mean?
-
A.
Positive pressure: differential pressure is applied in direction to close the gate
Reverse pressure: differential pressure is applied in direction to open the gate
Equal pressure: zero or minimal differential pressure across the gate
-
Q.
What is the helium leak rate of the valve?
-
A.
Standard leak rate is ≤ 9 × 10⁻¹¹ Pa·m³/s for the gate seal and ≤ 4.0 × 10⁻¹¹ Pa·m³/s for the valve body.
-
Q.
How many operating cycles can the valve withstand?
-
A.
Standard service life for Transfer Valve is 1 million cycles. For Penduroll valves with less frequent cycling, standard service life is 300,000 cycles (for sizes <φ350).
-
Q.
What is the operating temperature range?
-
A.
Standard specifications are 90°C for gate and 60°C for actuator. Track record up to 150°C for gate and 120°C for actuator for high temperature applications.
-
Q.
What does "allowable differential pressure at operation" mean?
-
A.
It refers to the allowable differential pressure across the gate during valve operation.
-
Q.
Can the valve remain closed in the event of air supply failure?
-
A.
Valve can be designed to remain closed through mechanical or pneumatic retention mechanisms.
-
Q.
Do you offer repair and overhaul services?
-
A.
Our valves can be repaired and overhauled. Please contact your sales representative or use the Contact Form.
-
Q.
Do you have a price list?
-
A.

-
Q.
What overseas support is available?
-
A.
We have sales support bases in the United States, China, and South Korea.
-
Q.
Do you provide engineering support for meetings or technical discussions?
-
A.

Q.
Where are the products manufactured?
-
A.
Manufacturing is carried out at the Tokai Plant, Higashi-Maizuru Plant, and V TEX Korea.
-
Q.
Can I order components or individual parts?
-
A.
Orders for individual parts are often declined due to warranty considerations surrounding parts replacement. Please contact your sales representative or submit an inquiry via Contact Form. Direct sales to end users may be restricted due to agreements with our OEM customers.
-
Q.
Do you provide modification or maintenance services for valves manufactured by another supplier?
